Crimson

Crimson is a flagship product of CS GROUP, using the digital twin concept along with ground-breaking AI and simulation technologies, to support the chain of commandment and the first responders on the field during crisis and security operations. It also offers unique features to train both crisis managers and field crews and to rehearse critical missions using eXtended Reality and simulation technologies.

In France, nearly 40% of departmental fire and rescue services (SDIS) have adopted Crimson for the 24/7 management of incidents and disasters and the sharing of a common operational picture (COP) across multiple organisations. Crimson has been for instance used in 2020 to manage the most critical period of the COVID 19 pandemia. It is also used for the DOMINO FSX 2022 exercice organised by the EU for European Civil Protection Preparedness involving Spanish, German, and French civil protection.

It is also used by the National French Training School for Fire-fighters Officers to train both Fire-fighters commanding chain during Crisis Management exercises, and by the French MoD to protect critical infrastructures. Crimson is also deployed abroad in countries such as Tunisia, Moroco, Algeria, Niger, Mauritania...

Crimson is highly innovative and includes the results of the several EC project including CRIMSON, INDIGO, and VASCO FP7 projects as well as INTREPID, RESCUER, FASTER, and INGENIOUS H2020 projects. It has been selected by NATO as one of the top 10 most innovative system in 2018 for civil crisis management. In 2019, the French Defense Innovation Agency (AID) awarded Crimson as the most innovative system for the management of the protection of events and sensitive sites. In 2020, Crimson has been approved for both the hypervision and protection of 2024 Summer Olympics sites and has been selected by the French MoD for both the hypervision and management of the protection of critical infrastructures.
